AWESOME is a contemporary arts company for young audiences based in Perth. AWESOME provides high quality, amazing, exciting and challenging art for both Primary and High School students across various art forms such as animation, new media, film, theatre, street art, contemporary dance and sculpture. AWESOME operates in both metropolitan and regional Western Australia. Festival excursion packages are available and AWESOME also offers workshops and incursions throughout the year.

Teacher Information Day & Festival Sneak Peek

The annual AWESOME Teacher day was a huge success this year!! With a record number of 32 teachers joining us for a morning of fun, it was great to see so much enthusiasm for the AWESOME Festival and sample workshops.

Check out this stop animation video made by the teachers in attendance with local animator Steven Aiton.
PS. They only had 20 mins to learn the art of stop animation and create their short film. Pretty cool huh!!
