2010 Short Film Summer School

For the first time ever, AFTRS: The Australian Film Television & Radio School’s Perth premises is opening its doors to talented and enthusiastic future filmmakers to participate in this exciting week long intensive and hands-on workshop.
AFTRS is the Australian Governments training school for the broadcasting industry. Our graduates are a who’s who of the industry and include Oscar, Canne and award winning directors, cinematographers, editors and producers. Guided by a leading industry professional course participants will work together to write, create and produce a short animated film.
This introductory 5 day school holiday workshop will introduce you to film styles, story creation, voice, sound effects, animation and music. All participants will participate on a final day screening of their films and take home a digital copy.
Numbers are limited to ensure one on one, intensive hands on experience. Book now to avoid disappointment. Completion of this course entitles participants to entry in our more advance programs to be run throughout the year.
