Volunteers are the lifeblood of the AWESOME Festival! Volunteering with AWESOME provides an opportunity to gain real experience in all aspects of arts and event management. Volunteers may be working directly with our audiences in a front
of house role, or leading school groups through an unforgettable festival experience. They may be working directly with our international artists as assistants, or working with production to ensure our venues are ready for action. Every day at the festival brings something new and exciting!

If you are looking to learn new skills, gain experience in the arts industry, network with international artists, or have some fun on your day off we have a role for you. Volunteer roles include Festival Assistant, Team Leader and School Tour Guide. If you’re over 15 years of age, we’d love you to join the team.
