Throughout the year, AWESOME runs community and arts development programs in regional and metropolitan Western Australia.

AWESOME aims to provide engaging contemporary arts experiences through the exploration of identity, stories, community and family. Each program is a celebration of the cultural and environmental diversity of Western Australia and the talents of the bright young things that live there.

  • AWESOME@The Glades

    AWESOME@The Glades is a community development partnership between AWESOME Arts and LWP Property Group. The Glades is the largest new master-planned community in the south-eastern suburbs, located in Byford. It is on the fast track to become a vibrant community where families can grow, businesses can develop and everyone can thrive. [more]

  • AWESOME@Ellenbrook

    AWESOME@Ellenbrook is a community development partnership between AWESOME Arts and LWP Property Group. Ellenbrook is located just 35 minutes from the city and is on the doorstep of the Swan Valley. The Ellenbrook Town Centre is growing by the minute, with a mixture of shopping, education, sport and urban living. [more]

  • AWESOME@Trinity

    AWESOME@Trinity is a new community development partnership between AWESOME Arts and LWP Property Group. Trinity is a brand new master-planned community in Perth’s north-west coastal corridor, located between Joondalup and Yanchep. This new development is setting a new benchmark for quality sustainable planning and design. [more]

  • Punmu Stories

    Punmu Stories is a digital media program that reflects the stories, identity, history, landscape and culture of the Martu people from the Punmu and Kunawarritji communities in the Pilbara, in remote Western Australia.

    Over three two-week residencies in 2008, digital media artist Mat de Koning worked with the young people of the Rawa Community School to create a 30-minute film entirely produced in the community… [more]

  • AWESOME@Vale

    AWESOME@Vale was a community development partnership between AWESOME Arts and Multiplex Living. Vale is a master-planned community located north-east of Perth in the Swan Valley. Whilst this partnership finished in 2009 we are still very privileged to have had the opportunity to spend three years working with the fantastic residents of the Vale community. [more]

  • AWESOME-For-All

    AWESOME-For-All is a donor program enabling young Western Australians who are disadvantaged physically, economically, culturally or geographically, to participate in the annual AWESOME Festival and its workshops.
